In spring 2009 we decided to capitalise on our in-depth knowledge of the international gold market by launching a venture founded on the trading of physical gold in Hungary. The market for investment gold, in the form of ingots, bars and coins, is on the threshold of unprecedented and continuous growth in Hungary. We are primarily targeting the wholesale segment of the market, those private and institutional investors, and precious metal traders, who want to invest in precious metals either on their own account or on behalf of their clients. For small investors and gift-hunters we offer the opportunity to buy and sell at favourable prices via our web store.
In line with EU directives, investment gold is expected to remain VAT-exempt for a long time to come. Physical gold has similar liquidity to cash, but is set apart from all other forms of investment by its inherent ability to hold its value. This is why we believe that prudent investors will invest a part of their liquid portfolios in gold bars and coins in Hungary, as is customary elsewhere in the world. It is these investors whom we would like to serve, to the highest possible standards.
Our company only distributes Swiss-produced “Good Delivery” gold bars, which conform to the most stringent quality standards. We quote two-way prices (buy-sell) for the gold ingots and coins that we offer. For institutional investors, precious metals investors and jewellers, we quote individual prices.
The company’s chief executive officer is Gergely Juhász, who has worked as a stockbroker and later as director and consultant with responsibility for forward markets, at various financial institutions and fund management companies in Hungary since 1995.
